What subtitle file formats are supported by Mvix Media Players
Solution Mvix media centers support the following SUBTITLE files:
.SUB
.SRT
.SMI

In order to play your video files with subtitles, follow these simple steps:
  1. Create a folder (or sub-folder) on your Mvix HDD.
  2. Transfer and store the video file into this folder.
  3. Transfer and store the subtitle file in the same folder.
  4. Ensure that the video file name matches with the subtitle file name. (e.g. if your video file is named: bobwedding.avi, then the subtitle file should be named: bobwedding.srt or bobwedding.smi or bobwedding.sub
When viewing this folder on your video display (i.e. TV or projector), the subtitle file will not be visible, however when you play your video, it will play with subtitles.

For further information and troubleshooting, please read our subtitle troubleshooting article.

Please note: At this time, Mvix supports MicroDVD .SUB files
