If you Mvix player displays "Invalid Firmware file", please download the firmware again, unzip it and transfer to the Mvix-HDD. Try Updating the firmware again.
If the above procedure does not work, ensure that your Mvix_HDD is not working in compressed mode. Follow this procedure:
- Right Click on your Mvix-HDD label, select Properties.
- The following window will pop up:
- UNCHECK the following two options
- Compress drive to save disk space
- Allow Indexing Service to index this disk for fast file searching.
- Click OK
- If you already have a UPGRADE folder on your Mvix player, delete it and follow the firmware process from start.
