 Factory Reset Procedure
Solution NOTE: Factory reset will reset all of your networking and other settings. Once a factory reset is performed we recommend that you check your firmware version and upgrade to the latest firmware if necessary.

The factory reset procedure in the manual for the MX-760HD/MX-780HD is incorrect, please use the following procedure.

Mvix (MX-760HD/MX-780HD) HD Media Center
  1. Power off the Mvix Player completely. Remove the power cord from the player for 15 minutes.
  2. Plug-In the power cable. Wait for 10 seconds.
  3. Push and hold STOP and OK keys (on the Mvix unit, not on the remote), then press and release the POWER buttons on the unit. You may now let go of the STOP and OK keys.
  4. "Factory Reset" should display on the LCD monitor
  5. The unit Reboots and returns to Factory Default condition.
Mvix (MV-2500U / 4000U / 5000U / 5000R) Multimedia Players
  1. Disconnect the power from the Mvix player.
  2. Push and Hold STOP and OKAY key (on the Mvix unit, not on the remote) and then Plug-in the power cord.
  3. Turn-on the Power to your Mvix unit, while continuing to hold the STOP and OKAY buttons.
  4. Hold the STOP and OKAY key for 10 second and then release the keys (LCD panel on 5000U/R will say: Factory Default).
  5. Wait for 3 minutes until the startup procedure completes.
