Windows Vista and Windows 7 do not include native playback of BluRay. This requires the installation of a BluRay Software player. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to install PowerDVD on your Mvix Minx running Windows Vista or Windows 7.
Notes:
Please note that PowerDVD does not support playback of ripped BluRay's from a file folder. In order to playback ripped BluRay's using PowerDVD, they BluRay discs must be ripped to an iso format, and the iso must be mounted using third party software such as Virtual Clone Drive.
In Order to playback BluRay discs you need to purchase PowerDVD Ultra. Other versions will not play back BluRay discs.
Purpose : Installing PowerDVD to allow playback of BluRay discs.
Important Note: Under the BIOS settings, go to the NorthBridge settings, under 780g settings, onboard graphics and ensure the memory interleave is set to "auto" not fine"
.Installing Power DVD: - Start the installer and you will see the intial extration screen. When it becomes available, select Next .

- Click on Next .

- Review the License Agreement and then select Yes .
- Review the User Name and Company Name, and then select Next .
- Review and/or change the the installation directory if needed, and click on Next.
- Select the Program Folder and select Next .
- You will now see Power DVD Installing.
- If you see a Window for the installation of Google Toolbar, select "Don't install Google Toolbar" and select Next.

- When you see the MoovieLive screen select Accept .
- After Power DVD installs click on Finish .
- You can now start Power DVD to watch BluRay discs.
- If you want to play back ripped BluRay discs, you will need to download Virtual CloneDrive.
- Run the Virtual Clone Drive installer. Once the installer window comes up select I Agree.

- Select all of the image files you will use with Virtual CloneDrive such as img and iso, and then select Next .
- Approve or Change the Installation Directy and select Install.

- Virtual CloneDrive will now install.
- The installer will show you this window, click on Install.
- You have now completed the Virtual CloneDrive install.
- You can now using Windows Explorer, right click on any iso/img file, and select to mount it to a Virtual DVD Drive. Power DVD will be able to play the virtually mounted BluRay disc.
