 How to configure Windows Media Center on your Mvix Minx with Windows Vista or Windows 7 Premium or Ultimate.
Solution This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to configure Windows Media Center on the Mvix Minx when running the Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Purpose : Show the configuration for Windows Media Center on Windows Vista or Windows 7 for owners of the Mvix Minx Media Center.

Requirements: Only the Premium and Ultimate versions include Windows Media Center.

Configuring Windows Media Center:
  1. Go to Start -> All Programs -> Windows Media Center and double click the Windows Media Center icon.

  2. Windows Media Center will start for the first time.



  3. Click on Express, to go through the Express setup.



  4. You will now see the normal Windows Media Center display.



  5. Scroll down to Tasks, and select Settings. This will allow us to configure the Audio.



  6. Select General.



  7. Scroll to Windows Media Center Setup and select it.



  8. Scroll to Set Up Your speakers and select it.



  9. You will now click next to go through the Speaker configuration.



  10. Select the number of speakers you have connect. In this example we have connected only 2 computer speakers. For 5.1 or 7.1 surround systems, please choose the correct selection. Select Next.



  11. Select Test to start the playback test.



  12. If you heard the sound correctly please select the I heard sound from all opf my speakers selection, and select next.



  13. You have now concluded the Audio setup. Select Finish to return to the previous menu.



  14. Scroll down to Install PlayReady and select it.



  15. Agree to the EULA to install PlayReady and select Next.



  16. PlayReady will now install.



  17. PlayReady is now finished, select Finish.



  18. You are now done configuring Windows Media Center.
