Here is a step-by-step illustration for HDD installation in MV-5000U or MV-4000U:
- Slide the button at the bottom of your Mvix unit to unlock the slide cover.
- Slide and remove the side cover from the Mvix Media player
- Connect the Two cables (IDE and Power Cable) to your HDD.
- Slide the Hard Drive in the space so as to snugly fit the HDD in the enclosure brackets.
- Use the Thumb Screw to tighten and secure the HDD inside the enclosure.
- Slide the side panel cover back into place and lock the enclosure useing the sliding button at the bottom.
No Tools are required for installing a HDD in Mvix Media Player.
