How do I format the internal HDD to work on MAC and PC simultaneously
Solution By using the Mac OS X disc format utility, you can format the internal hard drive on your Mvix to work on both the PC and Mac. Please note that formatting the internal hard drive will erase all files on the hard drive. Please backup and files before continuing this process.

Take a look at this VIDEO and follow the steps below.
  • Start OS X
  • Plug your Mvix into the USB port on your computer
  • Click Applications
  • Click Utilities
  • Click Disk Utility
  • Select the Mvix Internal Hard Disk Drive to format
  • Deselect "Install Mac OS 9 Disk Driver"
  • Select: Volume format: MS-DOS File System
  • Click Erase, Erase
  • Click partition
  • Select MS-DOS File System for each partion
  • Name each partition
  • Click Partition, Partition
  • Your Mvix drive is now formatted for use on both Mac and PC!
