This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how add your favorite radio stations from sites like Shoutcast to your Mvix player, for playback any time you are connected to the internet.

Required Software: Your favorite browser.

Procedure:

For Firefox Users:

  1. Open your Firefox browser and go to www.shoutcast.com
  2. Search for your favorite type of music, for instance Jazz.
  3. Find the station you want, and select the yellow Tune in button for your station. You will be prompted to open the file or save it to disk, select SAVE TO DISK.
  4. Once the file has downloaded, rename the file to something that will identify the station, such as SoftSmoothJazz.pls.
