There are three basic ways of playing a video, audio or digital file in a loop (referred to as the LOOP function of Mvix Player):
If you want to play the same Media in loop everytime you start your Mvix player (MV-4000U/MV-5000 models ONLY):
- Make a folder on your Mvix root directory. Name this folder: autorun
- Put the Media file in this folder.
- Reboot (power-cycle) your Mvix player.
If you want to play ONE media file in loop (MV-4000U/MV-5000 models ONLY):
- Navigate to the media file on your Mvix HDD. Place the cursor on this Media file. (Do not press OK or PLAY)
- Use the LEFT arrow key on your remote to navigate to menu item: AUTOPLAY
- Select (Press OK or ENTER on your remote) AUTOPLAY.
If you want to play multiple media files in loop (MV-4000U/MV-5000 models ONLY):
- Navigate to the folder which contains all the relevant files.
- Use the LEFT arrow key on you remote to navigate to the menu item: PLAYLIST. Select (Press OK or ENTER on your remote) to select PLAYLIST.
- Select all media files that you want to include in the playlist. You can select as many files as you want.
- Use the LEFT arrow key on your remote to navigate to the menu item: CLOSE. Select (press OK or ENTER on your remote) to select CLOSE.
- Navigate to menu item: AUTOPLAY. Press OK or ENTER on your remote to start playing the media files.
If you want to loop multiple files on the MX-760HD and 780HD models:
- Using the Mvix Remote, navigate to the folder containing files that you will like to play in a Loop.
- Using the Mvix Remote, navigate, select the video file(s) intended for continuous repeat
- Press ADD button on your remote to add these files to MY LIST and create a Playlist
- Using the Mvix Remote, press REPEAT button to play the MY LIST file(s) in a LOOP or in continuous repeat playback
- All Playlists are automatically stored until removed, playlists are stored even when the unit is turned off
LOOP function in Mvix is an excellent way of showcasing videos and media files at trade shows, retail shops (POS - Point of Sale Systems, digital signage), Business presentations, etc. Many of our Mvix customers have used Mvix as a versatile digital signage player !
