 How do I know the format of my Video or Audio file and if it is compatible with Mvix?
Solution

There are several tools available which provide information about the structure and content of a Media file. With these codec appliances you can open a media file and access information about the codecs structure of the Media file.

Here are some examples of such Codec Appliances/tools:

  • GSPOT: Codec Information Appliance. [FREE]
  • MEDIAINFO: Technical or tag information about a Video or Audio file. [FREE]
  • CODECVIEWER: Learn about the required Video or Audio Codecs. [FREE]
  • AVICODEC: Provides information about Video and Audio Codecs. [FREE]
After finding out the codec structure of your media file, ensure that the codec is supported by Mvix. (Read Mvix Technical Specifications)
