 How do I create an ISO file from a DVD?
Solution Required Software: DVDShrink 3.2
  • Insert your DVD in your PC's DVD-ROM and start the DVDShrink 3.2 application.


  • As the application launches, Click OPEN DISC on the following screen.


  • Select the DVD-ROM drive containing your DVD. Press OK.


  • Your PC will start analyzing the DVD Title. It takes approx. 2-10 minutes for your PC to complete this process.


  • Upon completion of the analysis stage, the following screen comes up.


  • From the right-side panel, you can change the compression settings. Compression is the ratio of size of shrunk file to that of original file. Remember, higher the compression, lower the quality of your shrunk file. You can specify the size of the output file. Press OK.


  • Once you have finalized your output file setting. You are back on the original screen. Click on BACKUP button on the top navigation panel.


  • The following screen shows up. Under Select Target Backup, choose ISO Image Backup.Also choose a target file folder on your PC.


  • The encoding process starts. The encoding process can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hrs, depending on your PC's performance.

  • Upon completion of this encoding process, simply transfer the encoded ISO file from your PC to your Mvix player.
