This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how move downloaded files via the Bit Torrent client to other directories on the MvixBox.

Required Software: Internet Explorer

Purpose: To show how to move completed torrent downloads to other directories on the MvixBox.

Moving completed downloads:

1. Use your favorite web browser to bring up the web interface for your MvixBOX. (Currently Google Chrome is not recommended)
2. If you do not know your IP address for your player: For Vista Users: Go to Start --> Right Click on Network, and Select Explore. XP Users, Can double click on Network Neighborhood.
3. Right click on MVIXBOX, and select View Device Page.

   

4. At the MvixBOX front page, login with your account.

   

5. Double click the icon labeled BitTorrent/RSS.

   

6. In the torrent listing you will see a column to the right of the name column, it is labeled Start. Underneath this, click on the spinning round icon. This will open a pop up window, which will be the wizard allowing you to move the files.

   

   
   
7. On the following wizard, you will be able to select where to copy the completed download to.
   
   
8. Navigate to the folder you want to save your files to, select the folder, and click on Move Torrent.
   
   
   
9. When you see the pop up window click on OK. If you do not see the pop up window ensure that you don't have a pop up blocker enabled.
   
   
   
   
   


10. Once you click on Move Torrent you will get a confirmation pop up window.
    
    

    

    
    
    
11. The file will now be moved. Once it dissapears from the RSS screen it will be moved to the location you chose.
