This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to connect to Samba shares on your Mvix Andros.

Purpose : Show the steps to allow you to browse Samba shares on your Mvix Andros.

Steps:

1. Power on the Player. Click on / Select on the Applictions Icon to the right.
   
   


2. Scroll down to "ES File Explorer" and Click on / Select "ES File Explorer".
   
   
   
   
3. Scroll down and Click on / Select "LAN".
   
   


4. Here you can scan your network for Samba shares or specify one. We will specify one. Click / Select "Server".
   
    


5. Under Server you will need to specify the server IP or name, as well as the patch to the share. To connect as guest, Click / Select Anonymous. To specify username unselect Anonymous and specify the account name and password. Once done Click / Select "OK".
   
   
   
   
6. Within ES File Explorer you will now see your Network share. Click / Select your network share.
   
   
   
   
7. You will now see any files under your network share. You can use any of the media players to play back your content.
