This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to setup UTorrent Client and automate download and transfer of videos, movies and music to your Mvix Player.
Required Software: UTorrent Client [This client moves files to a different folder once the download completes. This is an important feature, as it enables automated transfers of completed files only (and not incomplete files)]
Purpose: Many users may want their favorite Torrent downloads automatically transferred to their Mvix Media Player on a daily basis. Configuring the Client / Software:
- Download the UTorrent Installer, and run through the install using all default options.
- Next, start the UTorrent Client. Start --> All Programs --> UTorrent --> UTorrent.
- Click on Options, then on Preferences
- Now Check the Move completed downloads to: box, and select a new directory for completed downloads to be copied to.
- Next Select the BitTorrent preference. Ensure to change Outgoing under Protocol Encryption to Forced and check Allow Incoming Legacy Connections.
- Click OK, and start using your torrent client. You can now use this MvixUSA Knowledgebase Article for automating the transfer of your torrent downloads (media) to your HDD-based Mvix player (and even schedule it on a regular basis) !.
