This guide provides step by step instructions on updating the firmware on your MVIX player.
PROCEDURE:
- On Your PC, using your favorite Internet Browser, browse to PRODUCT FIRMWARE DOWNLOAD area and select the latest firmware for your MVIX MX-760 / MX-780HD player .
- UNZIP the zip file of the firmware.
- Copy the Firmware package (.pkg file) to your MVIX Player via either USB or NDAS.
- Turn ON your Mvix Player. Ensure that your Mvix player is connected to the TV, LCD or display device (e.g. projector)

- Using your Mvix Remote, go to SETUP Menu, and then navigate to MISC

- Navigate to the FIRMWARE UPGRADE selection and click OK on your Mvix Remote.

- Select HDD1 and navigate to the directory / folder where you have transferred your firmware PKG file (from your PC in step 3)

- Select your firmware and press OK.

- When asked Are you sure to upgrade firmware to the version: x.x.x, Select OK.

- Next you will see the following comment: Verifying the file (1/3) on your screen.

- The firmware install process with continue. Soon you will see the following comment: Erasing old version (2/3) on your LCD / TV screen.

- Finally, the firmware install process with continue with the following comment: Writing new version (3/3) on your LCD / TV screen.

- Upon completion of firmware upgrade process, the Upgrade Complete window will pop-up. Click OK on Turn off N or it will turn off on it’s own after 10 seconds.

- Power ON your Mvix Media Center.

- Using your Mvix Remote, go to SETUP MENU, and then navigate to MISC

- Navigate to Show Firmware Ver. and hit OK. You should now see the upgrade firmware version.
