This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to convert a pre-ripped DVD (in normal DVD folder, e.g. VIDEO_TS) into an ISO. The ISO format allows you to have just one file for the entire movie. You can put this ISO file on your Mvix Media Center to playback the entire movie similar to a DVD playback (i.e. with menus etc.)

REQUIRED SOFTWARE: IMGBurn (Freeware!)

PURPOSE: To convert existing DVD folder structures (i.e. VIDEO_TS) into an .ISO file.

PROCEDURE:

1. Install IMGBurn.
2. Goto Start --> All Programs --> IMGBurn --> IMGBurn, double click on this selection.



3. Select Create image file from files/folders.



4. Under Source, browse to the directory for your movie. In this illustrative example, D:\Last_King_Of_Scotland. Under this directory is the Video_TS folder with all of the VOB files.



5. Next you will select your destination, and the name of your iso file. In this illustrative example the ISO will be named Last King of Scotland.iso and will be located in the root of the D:\. Now click the Folder --> Disc icon below the destination.



6. You may get the following window, if you do, select Yes.



7. Now you can confirm the Volume Label or change it. The Volume Label is displayed next to the drive letter in Windows and other Operating systems to identify the DVD. Once you are done, select Yes.



8. You will now see the final summary screen. Simply select OK and the conversion will begin.



9. The conversion process starts:



10. Your conversion is now complete. Press OK and close IMGBurn. Copy the .ISO file to your Mvix player.... and Enjoy !
