This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to add a RSS feed to the Mvix Primus Web-Application Content Management System.

Purpose : Show the steps to add a RSS feed to the Mvix Primus Web-Application Content Management System.

Steps:

  1. Browse to the Primus site, and enter your login, password, and corp ID.


  2. Once Logged in, click on "Content".



  3. Once in the Content area, on the left select "RSS Message". This will list any RSS Feeds you may have uploaded.



  4. Click on "New", then you will need to fill in the information for the RSS Feed. Once done, click "Ok".



  5. In the content screen you will now see the RSS feed listed. Before you can use the RSS feed it will need to be approved.


  6. Click on "Content" then "Audit". This will list all RSS feeds that have been uploaded and are awaiting approval.



  7. Here we need to select the RSS Feed, or click on "Select All" in the lower left corner, and click on "Approve". Now the list of unapproved content should be empty, and the RSS Feed can now be found in the appropriate media folder.  You can now add the RSS feed to your template.
