Mvix Ceeno allows users to manage advanced and flexible playlist schedule. Signage Administrator can program multiple playlist files with a variety of date range and weekday choices. The Mvix Signage Player will check its internal time clock and <filename>.sch file to download the specific playlist file from the HTTP server or the local administrative PC
- Use Administrative Software's (i.e. CAT) playlist editor to create the daily playlist file and save. For local
autoplay mode to use this feature, the playlist file should be saved in the same group’s folder.
For example, if for Home group, then save under <Home>

- Go to Tools and select playlist Scheduler

- Browse to the recently created playlist files and select the date range and weekday and click “Add” or “Update”. Save as a .sch file into same folder.

- Essentially, the scheduling can be accomplished via two alternative processes:
- Local Management: The Administrative Software (CAT) autoplay mode (AutoStart=Off in Setup) .
- Click on Account and browse this .sch file and enable Autoplay mode.

- After the demo.sch is enabled, the administrative software will read this .sch file and determine the current playlist file. Subsequently, the Player will download the latest content and playback.
- Remote Management: HTTP URL path (Auto Start= Http URL).
- If following a remote update method, use a FTP tool to upload all your .sch and .mpl files to a HTTP URL folder. (ex. http://www.mywebserver.com/demo folder)

- Then use Client Setup Utility (in the Administrative Software) to set the HTTP URL path into the DS player. When player boots up, it will automatically download the .sch file and will subsequently, determine and download the playlist file (as per the schedule).

Note: For the player to determine and download the current day's playlist file, set a daily reboot time for the DS Player.
Navigate to the Setup Menu via the remote -> Device-> Restart. Ex. 08:00. Player will reboot every morning at 8am to download and start a new playlist file.
