Mvix (IR-EXTEND) Infrared Remote Extender / Sensor

This Mvix Infrared (IR) Sensor / Extender is specifically designed to work with Mvix Media centers. It helps you control your Mvix Media Center while away from sight of the Mvix remote control. You can keep the Mvix HTPC in a cabinet, behind the projector or screen or even in the car's glove box and use this sensor/extender with the Mvix remote.

The IR sensor/extender provides a flexible system to control Mvix Media Centers that are tucked away from sight or hidden in a closet. The extender is also handy if the Mvix Media Center is located in separate and/or distant areas of the room.

The Infrared sensor performs better than wireless or radio-frequency extenders and is immune to interference or jamming from neighbors’ equipment, mobile phones, amateur radio etc.

Fully compliant with standard modulated IR and the latest IRDA.
